It is a great joy reminiscing the past decade filled with study, service and worship as we proudly commemorate the 10th anniversary of our beloved Chinmaya Sandeepany ashram. In June 2014, we moved into this sacred ashram, a place where devotees could come and seek the grace of Lord Jagadeeshwara, spiritual wisdom, and inner peace. Over the years, this space has etched several sweet memories for us through Bala Vihar, festivals, discourses, camps and pujas. Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of our new Chinmaya Sandeepany ashram from 2023-2024 by participating in yajnas in different locations by Swamins from Chinmaya Mission. The celebrations will conclude with auspicious rituals led by Pandit RavichandranJi in June 2024 and a grand finale yajna by Pujya Swami SwaroopanandaJi, Global Head, Chinmaya Mission, in August 2024.

Kaivalya Navaneetam September 24th – 28th, 7:30-8:30pm
Kaivalya Navaneetam is a well known Advaita classic in Tamil by Sri Thandavaraya Swamigal. Navaneeta means butter. Kaivalya or kevala is the state in which the soul exists, isolated from all connection with the body. From the vast ocean of milk (the Upanishads) the great teachers have drawn the milk of wisdom and filled it in pots (ancient texts). Sri Thandavaraya Swami, the author of Kaivalya Navaneeta says that he has extracted the butter from the milk. Those who have obtained this (being fed on the butter of divine wisdom – Brahma Jnana – and being externally satisfied) will not roam about feeding on dust (non-real objects of the senses).
Discourses will be in English.
