Vedanta Class Schedule - 2021

This is the schedule for discourses by Soham ji. There will be no discourses from April 12th through 22nd during Ramanavami celebrations. Discourses will resume on Saturday April 24th.

Mon & Wed 8:00-8:45 pm Śrī Rāmacaritamānasa Śrī Rāmacaritamānasa is a devotional text that shows us the way to develop and deepen our surrender to Bhagawan. Goswami Tulsidasji also weaves in words of wisdom, that will help us live a happy life.
Tue & Thu 6:30-7:15 am Ātmabōdha Ātmabōdha is an introductory text where Bhagavān śaṅkarācārya ji paints the key concepts of Vēdānta. With striking examples and ingenious poetry he guides the reader to clear knowledge of the Self. Every discourse will be followed by a Q&A session and there will also be intermittent guided meditation sessions. Tue & Thu 12:00-12:30 pm Upanishad Chanting We will come together as a community to chant divine compositions such as Bhagavad Gītā, Viṣṇusahasranāma and Upanishads. We are currently chanting Kena Upanishad. Ishavasya Upanishad (Pdf)

Thu 7:30- 8:30 pm Bhagavad Geeta Chapter 17 (only for young adults) Our personality is shaped per our faith. In chapter 17 of the Bhagawad Geeta, Bhagawan Krishna takes a deep dive into the topic of shraddha (faith) and shows us the art of deriving strength by having the right faith. Saturday 11:00 am- 12:00 noon Tattvabodha Tattvabodha is one of the foundational texts in Advaita Vedanta. Bhagawan Adi Shankaracharya ji introduces the seeker to the science of life by defining precise terminologies used in Vedanta. This class will include a discourse followed by Q&A.This class will include discourse and Q&A. Sunday 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Bhagavad Gītā Bhagavad Gītā is the eternally divine song by Bhagawan Krishna. It reveals the essence of the Upanishads along with guidance on how to live our life. This class will include discourse and Q&A.
