Back to News
CMSJ was scheduled to host the 27th Mahasamadhi Aradhana Camp from July 30th to August 3rd, 2020. Due to the global pandemic, the physical gathering did not take place.

In its place, CMSJ hosted a virtual Mahasamadhi Aradhana Camp streamed on YouTube. Swami Swaroopananda ji, Global Head, Chinmaya Mission, conducted talks for nine days from July 25th through August 2nd on KPIs – Krishna’s Powerful Instructions to Arjuna in the Bhagawad Geeta.

The talks can be viewed at the link below:

This was followed by a global event that started at 5:30PM Pacific on August 3rd called Chinmaya Samarpan. The event was subtitled ‘From San Diego to Sidhbari’. It started with lighting of 108 lamps in San Diego at 5:45pm, the time that Pujya Gurudev attained Mahasamadhi, to the sounds of the Chinmaya Ashtotattara-namavali being chanted. The wonderful program comprised many events contributed by people around the world. The climax was a conversation between Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda ji and Swami Swaroopananda ji regarding management lessons and what Pujya Guruji learnt from Pujya Gurudev.

This is a must-watch for all sadhakas.  The event can be seen below:
